Key Responsibilities
To provide a full administration service and consultative support to the HR department as well as to other internal customers as may be required to support operational requirements including projects. Ensures related project planning, execution and monitoring of progress / tasks are administered and executed in accordance with project scope, customer requirements and within company standards and legislation.
Main Objective
- Guiding, administering, executing and advising employees and managers on HR related processes and supporting documentation related to the entire employee life cycle while ensuring compliance to company practice, standards and statutory requirements
- Execute audits and corrective /improvement actions on master data and project related data including standard and monthly reporting; files etc.
- Preparing and reporting on intermittent information and HR statistics (this may include headcount-, absenteeism-, turnover-, leave excess-, new hires-, EE-, BBBEE- , deviations, union activity and Ad hoc reports)
- Responsible for the liaison, document submission and interface with the payroll department and associated benefit providers wrt take-on, transfers, promotions, increases, terminations, demotions, changes, leave administration, enquiries and possible anomalies e.g. IOD, disabilities, influencing employee’s personal details, status, group benefits or remuneration.
- Provide support to customers (HR, IT, Ops) by organizing, accurately capturing and maintaining data related to specific projects , contributing to the successful roll out of the said project/s (this can include, but is not limited to, new system implementations, creation of HCM org, personnel and asset records and database portraying PG Glass employees’ new engagements, transfers, terminations, personal detail changes, vehicle/asset changes and movements on a daily basis)
- Administratively support the Governance Risk Control (GRC) / Authorizations team, ensuring role alignment and relevant system approvals to employees by communicating any HR changes through as soon as received by the Network and updated on the Human Capital Management (HCM) system/s
- Sanitize, administer and maintain Business vendors towards an accurate record including compliance to a defined vetting process prior to loading new vendor in SAP / system.
- Execute and abide by any other reasonable HR and customer related task and instruction that may be required from time to time.
- Aspire and actively participate in on-going improvement initiatives including initiatives requiring personal skills development and growth towards supporting business and customer objectives and applying increasing technologies.
