About ESKOM
Eskom transforms inputs from the natural environment – coal, nuclear, fuel, diesel, water, and wind – into more than 90% of the energy supplied to a wide range of customers in South Africa and the Southern African Development Community (SADC) region. To balance electricity supply and demand in real time, the System Operator (soon to be the Independent Transmission and System Market Operator, ITSMO, as the Transmission business continues to legally separate) must maintain the frequency of the power system at 50Hz.

Key Responsibilities
• Gather data and conduct inventory analysis to meet demand.
• Conduct inventory parameter and data maintenance.
• Conduct material requirements planning and forecasting.
• Provide customer service and material availability to the end user.
• Adhere to the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHS Act) activities.
• Manage consignment stock.
• Optimise minimum control stock inventory.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
Qualification(s):
National Diploma in Logistics / Supply Chain Management/ Finance at NQF 6 with 240 credits.
Related Minimum Experience
2 years’ experience in Supply Chain Operations.
