Key Responsibilities
A position has become available in Rallim Junior Preparatory Faculty for a Teacher’s Assistant in a full-time position commencing on 8 July.
- Classroom Support: Provide assistance to the teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- Individualised Support: Work with students on a one-on-one or small group basis to reinforce learning objectives.
- Classroom Management: Assist in maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Aftercare and Holiday Care: Supervise students during aftercare and holiday care programs, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Homework Assistance: Support students with their homework assignments, providing guidance and clarification as needed.
- Resource Preparation: Assist in the preparation and organisation of teaching materials and resources.
- Support: Collaborate with the teaching team to provide additional support to students with diverse learning needs.
- Admin Support: Assist in the administration of the class needs.
Requirements
The Successful candidate must have the following characteristics:
- Relevant teaching qualification or currently registered for a teaching qualification
- Be able to use technology and Microsoft programmes
- Be able to adapt and use own initiative
- Have at least 1-2 years’ experience of working with children
Preferred Skills and Attributes:
- Is energetic, self-motivated and able to use one’s own initiative.
- Is hardworking.
Is adaptable to change and is a good team player. - Is a dynamic and caring teacher who loves children. Has excellent interpersonal skills with colleagues, students and parents.
- Previous experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, flexibility, and a genuine passion for supporting students in their educational journey.
