About ESKOM

Eskom has been powering South Africa since 1923 when the Electricity Supply Commission was established. Today still, it supplies more than 80% of electricity generated in South Africa. Eskom powers the grid with various types of power stations; from coal-fired to hydroelectric, nuclear, pumped storage, wind, and diesel.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in providing an advisory service to line management and employees on all aspects of Eskom’s Conditions of Service
• Assist in ensuring the improvement of employee satisfaction and organisational performance
• Assist with information to compile a work skills plan
• Assist in ensuring and effective skills sourcing service to the areas
• Assist in providing support to Line Management towards improving and maintaining good labour and employee relations
• Assist in gathering and providing management information to Line Management
Assist in facilitating the establishment and implementation of training and development processes

Requirements

• National Diploma in Human Resources / Behavioural Sciences at NQF 6 with 240 credits
• Related Minimum Experience:
• 2 years in Training / Background in HR generalist or specialist areas
