Key Responsibilities
To perform all operational activities utilizing plant equipment and resources pertaining to the blending or filling process at LOBP according to company policy procedures and applicable standard operating procedures.
- Ensure daily production operational blending and filling activities are performed effectively in accordance with the daily Production Plans and resources allocated by Team Leader;
- Ensure that daily throughput rates are achieved by operating resources at their optimum capacities;
- Carry out general housekeeping, first line maintenance and machine adjustment tasks;
- Manual labelling, palletizing and driving of forklifts;
- Ensure that gauging and dipping of tanks are at required intervals;
- Accurately complete records and required documentation related to area of work;
- Follow correct sampling methodology and frequency for all activities requiring sampling.
- Communicate, interpret and adhere to Engen’s HSEQ Policies and ZeTo Rules to ensure individual safety and that of others;
- Identify and report unsafe work operations, incidents and near misses;
- Participate in root cause analysis discussion for respective area;
- Safeguard business operations and Engen’s Compliance to Industrial Requirements;
- Follow correct procedures for respective areas.
Requirements
Baseline:
- NQF Level 4 (Grade 12/N3 Engineering Certificate)
- 1-year Experience in a Manufacturing Environment
Advantageous:
- Grade 12 (Mathematics & Science);
- Forklift License
- 2 Years’ experience blending and filling operations;
- Computer Literacy;
- Ability to perform basic equipment care.
