OFFICER (S): OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR
Duration: 1 year contract post
The Research Capacity Development division is seeking to appoint an Office Administrator to take responsibility for supporting the Office Administration duties. The incumbent will report to the Division Manager and will be responsible for the following areas:
Responsibilities:
General administration and office management
- • Information and record keeping of Division purchases
- • Assist with organizing travel arrangements and S&T processing
- • Assist with asset management including asset transfer, laptop registers, equipment at home forms
- • Manage purchase of stationery and consumable goods for Pretoria and Cape Town offices
- • Order equipment and appliances for Pretoria and Cape Town
- • Petty Cash Administration, ensuring that all these requests are adequately saved
- • Ensure that administrative deadlines are met, and tasks are performed efficiently
- • Collate requested information and solicit outstanding documents
- • Soliciting, validating, capturing and loading research outputs from grant and scholarship beneficiaries
- • Professional stakeholder communications and relations

Requirements
- • 1-2 Years Post Matric qualification
- • 2 Years experience in Office Administration
- • Good Organisational and Time Management Skills
- • Strong Communication Skills
- • Computer skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point)
Advantageous:
- • At least 3-year qualification in Office administration, Business administration or related
- • 2+ Years experience in Office Administration, preferable in healthcare or research environment
