Key Responsibilities

The key purpose of this role is to ensure that all governance processes and documentation are followed and completed to ensure that any and all physical movement of inventory is correctly reflected in MES. Assist with distribution activities as required.

Key roles and responsibilities:

  • Manage all Raw Material movements intake to malt producing. Ensure that correct SKUs are available for production. 
  • Monitor and ensure Maltings Raw material supply to production through correspondence with inventory Controller & Operators and factor into production plan Ensure that the right product is available at the right time at the right place. 
  • Ensure adherence to the Africa Zone Inventory Control Policy by means of governance through weekly and monthly engagement with stakeholders Ensure that correct SKUs are available for production and that the right product is available at the right time at the right place. 
  • Develop production schedules and manage changes as necessary: Weekly and daily Malting Production schedules which align to Central Planning’s requirements, whilst taking into account production constraints and optimally utilizing production resources. Ensure that correct SKUs are available for production. 
  • Support and execute with the implementation of VPO standards and requirements. Drive logistics performance at the Plant. 
  • Create Maintenance Work Orders. Loss and waste management.

Requirements

  • Min : Grade 12/Matric
  • National Diploma in Stock Control (Advantageous)
  • Min –  2-3 years’ experience in a Stock Control environment
  • Excellent knowledge of Stock Control processes
  • Problem solving ability
  • Good MS Office proficiency Sound knowledge of the SAP R3 system 
  • Have attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills Good verbal ability and communication skills
  • Ability to manage self and work independently.
  • Good team player
  • Good customer ethics and interpersonal skills.
