About Mossel Bay Local Municipality
Mossel Bay was officially proclaimed a town in 1848 and in 1852 it became a Municipality. As a result of the new municipal dispensation introduced by the South African Government in December 2000 the Municipality of Mossel Bay was merged with those of the much smaller Friemersheim, Great Brak River and Herbertsdale to establish the present-day Municipality of Mossel Bay.
The municipal area includes the towns and / or settlements of Mossel Bay, Boggoms Bay, Brandwag, Buisplaas, D’Almeida, Dana Bay, Glentana, Fraaiuitsig, Friemersheim, Great Brak River, Hartenbos, Herbertsdale, Hersham, KwaNonqaba, Little Brak River.

Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning and other housekeeping duties within the library and surrounds
- Prepare and serve beverages
- Report on stock levels
- Making posters and relevant materials
- Assist public with photocopies and printing and information for tasks
- Assists with inter-library loans and book reservations
- Recovering of overdue items
- Shelving and maintaining library material
- Filling application forms and cards
- Provide support to users with internet information queries
- Informal reporting to the supervisor on performance of tasks and machinery / tools that
need attention - Assist patrons with ICT computers
- Informal meetings
Requirements
REQUIREMENTS
(Relevant proof / documentation and relevant completed application form must accompany application.

- Grade 12 (NQF Level 4)
- Computer Literacy: MS Office
- Minimum of 0 – 2 years’ relevant experience
- In good health and able to perform manual operations
