About The South African Maritime Safety Authority (SAMSA)
The South African Maritime Safety Authority is a South African government agency responsible for the implementation of current international and national regulations regarding the maritime industry as well as upon all recreational marine vessels within its jurisdiction.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for day-to-day administration areas of the office environment and providing administrative assistance to other departments in the office.
Key functions:
- Office administration
- Coordinating the office program.
- General clerical support.
- Occupational Health and Safety representation
Requirements
- Grade 12
- National Diploma would be advantageous
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Minimum of 2 – 3 years’ administrative experience
- Organizing skills
- Communication and time management
- Telephone etiquettes
