Key Responsibilities
The facilitation of education requirements of the Club’s Academy players, linking education with football performance as well as assisting with the management and logistics of the academy.
Key Performance Objectives
Education Management
- Compile education records
- Place academy players at schools
- Procure school requirements such as uniforms, stationery and books
- Coordinate schooling logistics such as transport and food
- Track education progress
- Assist with extra lessons
- Supervise players’ Studying
- Recommend parental interventions
- Align school timetables with Club football activities
- Ensure a balance of education and football activitiesReporting
- Provide regular updates on the progress of individuals within the education system
- Recommend specialised programmes
- Recommend parental interventionsAcademy Management Activities
- Assist with Academy administration, including:
- Player records, files and documents
- Player registrations
- Provide logistical support with special focus on the academy and reserve league match days and tournament requirements
- Ensure medical and rehabilitation compliancePlayer Welfare
- Provide assistance to the Recruitment, Welfare and High-Performance Manager with regards to:
- Player Education
- Special requirements
